Oil seal commonly used materials are: nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, acrylic rubber, polyurethane, PTFE and so on. 1. nitrile rubber (NBR) It has good heat resistance, wear resistance, resistance to various lubricants, greases, oil and gas mixtures, and the use temperature is -30~120 degrees Celsius, but it cannot be phosphate ester hydraulic oil and gear oil containing extreme pressure additives. Stable performance in gasoline and low aniline point mineral oil.

Oil seal commonly used materials are: nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, acrylic rubber, polyurethane, PTFE and so on.

1. nitrile rubber (NBR)
It has good heat resistance, wear resistance, resistance to various lubricants, greases, oil and gas mixtures, and the use temperature is -30~120 degrees Celsius, but it cannot be phosphate ester hydraulic oil and gear oil containing extreme pressure additives. Stable performance in gasoline and low aniline point mineral oil.

2. polyacrylate rubber (ACM)
Excellent oil resistance, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, ozone resistance, ultraviolet radiation resistance, especially extreme pressure agent containing lubricating oil, gear oil, engine oil, engine oil, petroleum hydraulic oil, suitable for -30~150 degrees Celsius range of work.

3. fluorine rubber
Aging resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance, almost applicable to all lubricants, fuel, gasoline, oil containing extreme pressure additives in the oil is not easy to harden, but cold resistance, high temperature wear resistance, permanent compression deformation, the use of temperature -20~250 degrees Celsius.

4. silicone rubber
It has outstanding high and low temperature resistance and can be used for a long time at 150 degrees Celsius. It can be used continuously for 10000h at 200 ℃ and can maintain its unique flexibility and ozone resistance and weather resistance in the working temperature range of -70~260 ℃.

5. Teflon
It has outstanding chemical stability, thermal stability, friction reduction and self-lubrication, and its cracking temperature is above 400 ℃, so it can work in the temperature range of -200 to 300 ℃. In addition to free fluorine and alkali metals, it has excellent corrosion resistance to chemicals, solvents, hydroxide compounds and acids. Compared with fluorine rubber materials, nitrile rubber has a wide range of oil seals and low cost, but the heat resistance and sealing performance are significantly improved, but the cost is higher, and there are still some undesirable commonalities of ordinary rubber materials, such as poor wear resistance, Short service life, particularly sensitive to eccentric shaft reaction, oil leakage and other phenomena are more common. PTFE oil seal is a product with high technical content and is the development direction of oil seal in the future.
