The choice of O-ring hardness is more important. Such as a power station pump turbine hardness of 70(Shore) sealing ring, often peeling, or even transverse cut, after the use of 85~90(Shore) sealing ring, the effect is ideal.
The hardness is low and the installation is convenient, but it is prone to peeling, installation damage, extrusion and even pressure explosion. The hardness is too high and the installation is inconvenient.
Usually O-ring hardness 40~90 IRHD, but in the use of general 70 IRHD is more appropriate, for silicone rubber is an exception, generally use 60 IRHD.
